Health Gorilla remains focused on what matters most to our clients: delivering secure, reliable, and compliant access to the healthcare information providers need to care for patients. While active litigation continues, our operations and interoperability services continue without interruption. We continue to invest in our platform, expand our network of clients and connectivity, and strengthen the trusted exchange of healthcare information across the country. Our commitment to protecting patient privacy and supporting providers with the high-quality data they rely on every day remains unchanged.

A Message from Bob Watson,

Executive Chairperson & CEO

Dear Clients & Partners,

Healthcare has made tremendous progress in connecting information across the care continuum. Today, the challenge is ensuring that information arrives when it matters most and in a form that drives action.

The future of interoperability will be defined by the value it creates for patients, providers, and the organizations that serve them. Better decisions. Faster interventions. More coordinated care. These are the outcomes that matter.

At Health Gorilla, we believe interoperability is about ensuring trusted health information can move securely, openly, and without unnecessary barriers. That belief guides our work as we continue to innovate, collaborate with healthcare leaders, and advance solutions like Clinical Alerts that help deliver timely, actionable insights when they matter most.

In this edition of The Vine, you'll meet new members of the Health Gorilla team. Their expertise and commitment to our mission strengthen our ability to serve clients, partners, and patients across the healthcare ecosystem.

The progress we make is only possible because of the trust our clients and partners place in us every day. Together, we are building a healthcare system where information is more accessible, more reliable, and more useful at the moments that matter most.

Thank you for your continued partnership and for joining us as we build the future of connected healthcare.

-Bob Watson

Vine Product Update

Health Gorilla launched Clinical Alerts, a new Patient360 capability that provides visibility into patient activity detected across national health networks.

It enables cross setting awareness of patient events across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, post acute, and specialty care environments.

Integrated Patient360 identity resolution and document retrieval connect alerts to enrolled patients and deliver source documents for licensed organizations.

Clinical Alerts expands notification delivery options through FHIR Subscription and Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP), allowing organizations to incorporate alerts into existing workflows. By meeting organizations where they are, alerts can be delivered in ways that support existing care coordination processes.

As interoperability continues to evolve, solutions that deliver the right information at the right time will play an increasingly important role in supporting more informed decisions and better coordinated care.

This month, we welcomed three new Gorillas to the troop. Our new interns bring expertise in marketing, technology, and finance and are already making an impact across the organization.

Sydney Prokopovich | Marketing Intern

Joining the Marketing team this summer, Sydney Prokopovich is a rising senior at Penn State University. She brings a sharp mind, a positive attitude, and a genuine eagerness to learn and contribute. Her curiosity, creativity, and team-first mindset make her a valuable addition to the troop, and we're excited to see the impact she'll make throughout her internship. Outside of work, Sydney enjoys traveling to new places and spending time with friends and family.

Hashim Khan | Solution Engineering Intern

Hashim Khan joins Health Gorilla's Solution Engineering team while pursuing a degree in Computer Science at the University of Miami. Passionate about health technology, Hashim’s enthusiasm for innovation and willingness to learn make him a great addition to the team. When he's not coding or learning about healthcare innovation, you'll likely find him playing tennis, following sports, or planning his next travel adventure.

Sharif Johnson | Finance Intern

Sharif Johnson joins the Finance team as a summer intern while pursuing his MBA at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business. He comes to us with prior experience in healthcare investment banking, private equity, and wealth management. Sharif understands both the healthcare and financial landscapes.
